This one-day course develops your radio communications skills and understanding by means of demonstrations and practical exercises on a range of sophisticated radio equipment. The radio operator training course is particularly useful when organising an event where you will need to use two way radios. We can provide structured training packages for radio operators to get the best out of the equipment.

TWO-WAY RADIO TRAINING
This course provides comprehensive training in two-way radio operation for simple FRS (family radio service) and walkie-talkie radios. It involves hints and tips for clear radio usage including do’s and don’ts.
Our experienced trainer will take you through the commands you should use, standard language and “radio etiquette”. Importantly, the course will cover the NATO Phonetic Alphabet.
No formal assessment, however, an Alternative assessment may be designed by the teacher to gauge students’ understanding of material.
This may be a mixture of open-ended questions, written compositions, oral presentations, projects, experiments, and portfolios of student work. Also Performance tasks and Self- and peer-evaluation.
Work at music events, sporting events large permanent venues, as part of the event security, stewardship, supervisory or management team.
