This three-day course meets the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 in respect of First Aid at Work and is aimed at individuals who intend to develop and gain formal recognition of their knowledge, understanding and skills of first aid at work. By completing the two mandatory units, you will cover the essentials of First Aid, including roles and responsibilities, incident assessment and managing and administering First Aid to casualties in a variety of situations.

Whilst you attend our First Aid at Work Course, over the 3 days you will cover the following; Incident Management, Casualty Head to Toe Survey, CPR, Minor Injuries, Major Illnesses, Head & Chest Injuries, Suspected Spinal Injuries, Burns & Scalds and Sudden Poisoning.
Unit 1- Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
Unit 2- Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace
This First Aid At Work Course is assessed via practical demonstrations/assignments and oral questioning which is assessed by the course tutor.
The course duration is a minimum of 3 days and the qualification is applicable to those who work or intend to work for a range of organisations, as all employers are required by law to offer First Aid provision to their employees.
Centre Coordinator – To be a designated first aider for the centre and a rescuer. £18,000 – £19,000; Deputy Facilities Manager –
£22,000 – £31,000 a year – Undertaking role of Fire Warden and/or First Aider as required).
PSA : Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (QCF), the Level 3 Award in Paediatric Emergency First Aid (QCF) and the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF).
